STF Sala SilvergruvaCentrally located on the mining area, you will find the mine’s own hostel, originally built as a rooming house for unmarried men around 1920. The attractive building, called Marketenteriet (The Canteen), has 15 double rooms, all with space for an extra rollaway. The hostel maintains a simple standard with a shared toilet and shower in the hallway. Come stay in a beautiful and rustic environment, with everything the mine offers just outside your door.

Are you up for something we can guarantee not many of your friends have ever experienced? Sleep in the mining suite next to our banquet hall, a full 155 metres under ground! Included in the price is a guided tour of the extraordinary environment at 155 m, late night dinner and breakfast the next morning. A simple toilet is available 50 m from the banquet hall, while the shower is above ground in our hostel.
