Take part of a tour down the mountain where the journey goes through sooty and sloping passages, past deep shafts and majestic rock rooms. Your guide leads you down into the mine via winding stairs. Along the way, you stop at well-chosen places and get to take part in Sala Silvermines rich and exciting history. The great mine tour – Makalös special
Descend into the depths of Sala Silver Mine on a thrilling underground journey. This tour takes you beyond the ordinary visitor route, leading you 60 meters down into a world of darkness, history, and hidden passages. 60 min
Private Tour – The mining bailiff’s walk
Sala Silvergruva covers a large area with 48 cultural buildings from different centuries. Each building is connected to the mining that influenced the entire area and the people who worked here. During the walk, you will see some of these fascinating buildings and learn more about their role in the mine’s history. At selected places, you will also have the opportunity to look down into the mine, where centuries of hard work once took place. 75 min
